Ecosystem rehabilitation and species conservation
The introduction of invasive alien species, natural disasters, accidents or inappropriate managementcan cause major ecosystem degradation. The first priority is always prevention, but if damage is
done, the urgent need is rehabilitation.
To contribute to the most effective implementation of these efforts, the Total Foundation supports
projects for the restoration of natural sites, communities and impaired ecosystems, and the
conservation of threatened species, particularly in marine environments.
